Showed this to the Floor supervisor who repeated Ace is high.Īny little kid will tell you a '4 high' trumps a '3 high'. My 432 (4-high straight) is one step higher than the 32A (3-high straight). I reviewed the 3-card poker rules online and basically AKQ is the highest straight one can make and 32A is the 'lowest'. They would not give me a copy of the form I filled out. So far I requested the Gaming Commissioner TWICE and I don't think my request was honored. I again asked for Gaming commission and they instead gave me a form to fill out (which required witness signatures - this was not signed as far as I know). I stated my case, they reviewed the camera and repeated that Ace is high. I went to the Players promotion area and requested to speak with the Colorado Gaming commission. I protested, pit boss came over and said Ace is high card they win. Said Ace was the high card, I said the Ace = '1' and is LOW.
The dealer took my bets since he claimed his straight (3-2-A) was higher than mine (4-3-2).
Was dealt 2-3-4 (non-suited) for a 3-card straight. $10 on all three spots (plus $1 bonus) for a total of $31 wagered on the game. Was playing 3-card poker at Ute Mountain. Background: Am a savvy gambler and frequently visit Vegas (I've been going for 20+ years)
